Orlando Hotels: Three Disney World Hotels with Rooms for More Than Four Guests by Cindy Bair
Planning a vacation may be more expensive than you might think if you were alone or there were just a few people in your group. Unlike a family of four, which always seems to have a special discount or a holiday package offered to them, a group of friends, co-workers or community members will have to help each other by contributing to the vacation getaway the group has planned for the weekend or during holidays.
Group discounts for a tour group or an organization are available at your preferred travel agency. However, for DIY lovers, budgeting and planning your group’s vacation usually spells F-U-N. Choosing accommodations from a list of Orlando hotels, for example, is easier because you’ll know exactly how much a large suite for five or six persons will cost and the kinds of perks provided for larger groups of vacationers.
You might want to consider five of the largest Disney World hotels that have special suites for more than four guests. They usually attach unique privileges to these suites, such as a free breakfast with a few Disney characters, or an opportunity for early admission to Disney World’s theme parks. One of these hotels even has an amazing fireworks display especially put together for their guests’ pleasure.
Let us look at these wonderful Orlando hotels located right inside Disney World near the Downtown Area:
1. Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel
Whew! The name maybe a mouthful to say, but Lake Buena Vista is one of the best Disney World hotels to stay at during your group’s vacation. Each room provides 20% more living space because of their triangular design. For the best hotel experience, ask for a Disney Suite, which has two queen-sized beds and a private balcony that overlooks a great view of the entire Walt Disney World Resort and brings the best view of the nightly fireworks show. An upholstered ottoman and chair as well as a table and two chairs provide comfort and the ambience of home. A fully furnished bathroom completes the basic amenities found in every hotel room.
2. The Hilton in Walt Disney World
One of the best Orlando hotels is The Hilton, whose Disney World hotel boasts of environmentally friendly facilities and PURE Allergy Friendly Rooms. As a certified Green Lodging hotel, The Hilton maintains clean and allergen-free indoor air quality, recycles paper and plastics, uses energy-efficient lighting, and water efficient bathroom fixtures.
Its Junior Suites are perfect for groups of more than four people. Select a suite with two double beds and a sleeper sofa with extra living space. Measuring nearly 700 square feet in size, these suites usually have an outdoor terrace for early morning coffee rituals with friends.
3. Royal Plaza Hotel
The Tower Rooms at the Royal Plaza are purported to be the most spacious among Disney World hotels. They feature floor-to-ceiling windows that reveal stunning views of the Disney Resort, oversized bathrooms with Roman tubs and whirlpools, two double Royal Beds, and a sitting area with a sleeper sofa and activity table.
For a much larger space, opt for either the Executive Suite, the Royal Plaza Suites 1 and 2, or the Governor’s Suites 1 and 2. Measuring 800 to 850 square feet in size, these guest rooms have separate sleeping and living areas. Some suites have a private patio, which leads to the pool deck.
These Orlando hotels offer winter rates for a fraction of the cost you would pay in peak season. They also provide special packages for guests who book early and who pay before their arrival date. Florida residents and birthday celebrants are invited to take advantage of discounts for hotel accommodations and theme park tickets.
