Achluophobia – Fear of the darkness

The fear of the dark, surprisingly usual phobia results in countless people needless distress. Though several kinds of strong drugs are often prescribed for phobia of darkness, side effects or withdrawal symptoms can be severe. Furthermore, drugs will not cure any phobia. Battling fear of the dark can protect you change your unconscious thought of the dark and also to allow you to enjoy it without fear.

Fear of darkness
is also known as Achluphobia, myctophobia and scotophobia. Fear of the dark is something that haunts many people in childhood, but for some this fear goes on into later life. Despite the grownup knowledge that there us nothing there, the fear is potent and overrides logic. Like any fear, fear of the dark can arise at anytime and for numerous causes, but happy Hypnosis is highly effective at handling fears and phobias.

Phobia symptoms Of the Darkness.

It can cause Panic Attacks and keep people apart from loved ones. Symptoms usually include shortness of breath, rapid breathing, irregular heartbeat, sweating, nausea and overall feelings of dread. Although everyone experiences phobia of darkness in there own way and will vary in symptoms.

The condition may also be triggered by myriad, benign events like movies, TV or maybe witnessing someone else experience trauma.

How To Handle It.

You can teach yourself to regain control of your emotions and conquer your phobia of darkness. You will have to quickly educate your unconscious mind to link up different, positive feelings to the stimuli that triggers the phobia and you will learn quickly to stop the root cause of your fear those awful thoughts, images, movies or sounds.

Don’t use hypnosis for
Fear of darkness
or the modern techniques are evenly relaxing and enjoyable. Once the unconscious mind feels safe and learns how to react appropriately, it will always know. So the result are lasting.
