This is important as nobody must see what you have written but you have made a conscious effort to record your racing thoughts which are causing you the anxiety. This technique has been used successfully in anxiety management especially for Panic Attacks.

Other simple techniques which will help you in anxiety management is to make sure you get at least 30 minutes of physical exercise a day, ideally. If you cannot face a gym and all the stress that goes with that, try walking. Exercise is a great way to relieve anxiety and the only problem is that it may become addictive! This is a rather healthy addiction compared to that caused by the common anti depressant prescription drugs (such as Sertraline, Paxil and Celexa) which are prescribed in tonnes across the American continent.
